NEIRRA is a 4-piece rock band from Tokyo. The band consists of  Keisuke Ohuchi (vo/gt/keyboard), Masashi Oyama(gt/cho), Shota Matsumoto(bass/cho) and Yusuke Sonoda(dr/cho).   In 2010 Keisuke and Masashi formed a band and named it ‘THE SPOONIE’  They soon started to write songs and do gigs in local clubs in Tokyo area with their friends.  In 2012 Yusuke Sonoda joined the band as the drummer of the band.  In 2013 they earned a place in the final at Tower Records competition ‘ Knockin’ on Tower’s door vol.3′ which led to the release of their first EP album ‘Skin’ in 2013.   In 2014,  Shota Matsumoto joined the band completing the line-up as a four-piece rock band. They digitally released four singles in 2017. Each of them ranked high in itunes chart with “Hide & SEEK” raking 6th in i Tunes Alternative Chart while ’Hold On’ was selected for Spotify’s official playlist <Tokyo Rising>.  In 2018 they changed the name of the band to NEIRRA Since then NEIRRA have been actively doing gigs at various venues mainly in Tokyo and Kanto areas establishing themselves as one of the most creative and exciting independent bands in Japan.
